This is a featurerequest.

Right now, there is no way to change the password used for twitter except direct in the db. Would be great to have a config option for that.

What do you mean exactly? The password can be changed inside the event
plugin configuration...? Maybe you looked for it in the sidebar plugin,
which is not responsible for the backend client?
